Fighting Fantasy Project

This is an awesome site. It publishes Amateur Fighting Fantasy gamebooks in online form. Updates are kind of slow, but the gamebooks themselves are interesting and the online statskeeper makes them very easy to play if you use a screen reader.

The Mud Connector

This is where I find most of my muds. For an explanation of what muds are, see my muds page.

L-works

This is the home of easily some of the best audiogames on the net. My two personal favorites are Judgement Day and Super Liam, though the free games are somewhat entertaining as well. Check out the site for descriptions of the games.

Sound Effects

Sound Snap

I haven't actually looked at these guys much, but I've heard from several sources they have good free sound effects. Check them out if you're into sounds.

Pro Sound Effects

This is where I get most of my sound effects. They sell sound libraries from just about every sound developer you can think of. They also have royalty free music and the like. Check these guys out if you're a hardcore sound mixer.

Galbadia Hotel

This is a site with thousands of videogame soundtracks. It has everything from midis to mp3s, from old playstation games noone remembers or has never heard of, to the most modern games on the market. An excellent place if you're a fan of game music.

Other

Dropbox

An awesome utility that lets you share files between your computers or even between friends. You just create a folder with windows explorer inside the dropbox folder, invite anyone you want to share files with to that folder via email, and anything you paste to that folder gets put in the same folder on their computer as well, and any other computers you have registered under your login. There's also a public folder where you can put files that you want to share with anyone. Files in the public folder are given a link that you can paste to people, and they can download it just like a normal file. Definitely worth using if you like sharing files.

Brandoncole.net

This is the website of Brandon cole. Its a lot like mine, but his site features a gaming section for blind gamers with samples of mainstream games that are playable or partially playable by blind gamers. Its most definitely worth a look.

Graphic Audio

This is a company that specializes in making audio books. What sepperates them from typical audio book producers is the way they create their audio books. Their logo is "A movie in your mind,: and they definitely live up to their claim. They're sort of a mix between old radio drama and a fully narrated audio book. They have a professional cast of actors and they use cutting edge sound effects to reall bring a story to life. So far they mostly specialize in books in the action/adventure genre, like Deathlands, Outlanders, etc. They're starting to branch out a little, but even if you're not a big fan of action packed books, I highly recommend checking these guys out.

Zophar's domain

This is a great site for emulators, savestates, premade cheat files and the like. I personally go for the soundtracks though. Unlike galbadia hotel, these guys do actual game rips. NSF files, SPC files, no midi music here, this is the real soundtrack, ripped straight from the game.

AppleVis

For those of you with iDevices who are blind, this is a great site. It has guides on how to use your iPod, a huge app directory with fully reviewed accessible apps or apps that have been deemed inaccessible, and many other resources worth checking out.
